4th Project Meeting
19-21 February 2008 in Barcelona, Spain
The SOLATERM consortium members met from 19th to 21st of February 2008 in Barcelona, Spain for a workshop on energy concepts and planning and dimensioning of large solar thermal systems.
During the workshop an introduction to energy concepts for complex buildings (e.g. hotels, hospitals) was given. Furthermore, software for planning and dimensioning of large solar thermal systems has been tested and examples in the Southern Mediterranean countries were discussed.
Finally, Spanish case studies have been presented and the participants visited the Barcelona Public Health Agency as a case study building for solar cooling.
